Growing Pains

“Growing Pains” focuses on the childhood myth that swallowing a watermelon seed will cause a watermelon to grow within your stomach. Inspired by vintage fruit crates, this movie-prop installation is made using a printed mixed media illustration that combines acrylic and pencil crayon. The crate itself weathered with inks and washes to add to the used feel.
